Generic safety videos often fail to resonate with the specific, hands-on needs of facilities engineering teams. To combat training fatigue and improve retention, the firm sought a custom-built eLearning experience focused on PPE mastery. The challenge was to design a module that didn't just show equipment, but challenged learners to apply their knowledge through interactive scenarios, ensuring they are fully prepared for the physical demands of their roles.
To make a comprehensive set of safety data accessible, the course "chunks" complex PPE requirements into intuitive, meaningful categories supported by real-life imagery. Guided by an AI-driven video narrator, learners move beyond theory into active application by analyzing facilities-specific scenarios. Each decision is followed by immediate, specific feedback from the narrator, creating a personalized coaching loop that reinforces correct protocols and clarifies misconceptions in real-time.
This interactive approach successfully bridged the gap between knowing safety rules and applying them. By organizing complex data into digestible categories and providing real-time coaching via a video narrator, the course achieved peak learner engagement. Employees now benefit from a training model that respects their time while providing the specific, actionable feedback necessary to maintain a zero-incident safety culture in facilities engineering.
